Nitropolis 2 Slot Review
SlotTribe 250 Spin Test – Date: 24 October 2026 – Result: -119.60 – Bonuses: 0 – Biggest Win: 18x
Overview
Nitropolis 2 is ELK’s May 2021 follow‑up to the original chaos machine, pushing the city into full meltdown as Sergeant Nitro Wolf storms through the streets locking up clans and causing absolute carnage. It’s a 6×4 slot with Nitro Reels™, winning respins, both‑ways pays, a boosting top reel, and a bonus game built around locked Nitro Reels. On paper it’s explosive, fast, and full of modifiers — but our session told a very different story.
Across 250 spins, Nitropolis 2 behaved like a slot that wanted to do something but never actually committed. The first 100 spins were passable, with small wins and a couple of mid‑range hits, but once that 18x dropped, the slot fell off a cliff. The final 150 spins were dead, flat, and frustrating, with no bonus and only one late 11x to stop it being a complete write‑off. This is a slot that can pop, but when it doesn’t, it feels like you’re spinning into a brick wall.

Mick’s Take
First 100 spins were OK I suppose — loads of bitty wins up to 5x, plus an 11x and a late 18x. The 18x isn’t exactly a big win, but it felt like it knocked the stuffing out of the slot because everything after that was absolute shite. Completely dead until an 11x at the death. Didn’t hit the bonus either, so the whole session just fizzled out and went nowhere.

Gameplay & Features
Nitro Booster
The Nitro Booster sits above the main reels and fires modifiers into the grid. Green boosters affect the Nitro Reels in their own column, while gold boosters hit all Nitro Reels at once. Boosters can upgrade Nitro Reel sizes, add wilds, drop bonus symbols, trigger respins, or activate both‑ways pays. When the slot is alive, this reel is the engine — but in our session it barely did anything meaningful.
Winning Respins
Any winning combination triggers individual respins for the symbols and Nitro Reels involved. As long as new wins appear, the respins continue. This mechanic can chain nicely when the slot is behaving, but during our test it mostly produced small, forgettable wins.
Nitro Reels
Nitro Reels cover two symbol positions and contain 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 payout symbols. They’re the core of Nitropolis gameplay, expanding the grid and creating bigger hit potential. In our session, they showed up often enough but didn’t convert into anything substantial.
Bonus Game
Three or more bonus symbols trigger the free spins bonus. All Nitro Reels lock in place for the entire bonus, creating a setup that can snowball into big wins. The bonus can also retrigger. Unfortunately, we didn’t see it once in 250 spins — which tells you everything about how cold the slot was.
Volatility & Behaviour
Nitropolis 2 is high volatility and extremely streaky. When it’s hot, the Nitro Booster and Nitro Reels can create wild chains and big setups. But when it’s cold, it’s ice cold. Our session showed the worst side of the slot — a decent first 100 spins followed by a complete collapse. No bonus, barely any mid‑range wins, and long stretches of dead spins. This is a slot that either wakes up or ruins your balance.
Graphics & Sound
Nitropolis 2 keeps the gritty, neon‑punk city aesthetic with sharp animations, clan characters, and a chaotic soundtrack. The Nitro Booster adds visual energy, and the respin chains make the grid feel alive when things are happening. It’s stylish, loud, and full of attitude — even if the gameplay didn’t match the presentation during our test.

SlotTribe Verdict
Nitropolis 2 absolutely died on us. A couple of mid‑range wins early on, then nothing but dead spins and disappointment. No bonus, no momentum, no spark — just a slow decline into a -119.60 session. It’s a slot that can go off, but when it doesn’t, it’s brutal. Today, it was brutal.
