Monopoly Money Slot Review
SlotTribe 250 Spin Test – Date: 27 October 2026 – Result: -19.90 – Bonuses: 2 – Biggest Win: 71x
Overview
Monopoly Money is Big Time Gaming’s latest Megaways™ beast, released on 28 October 2026 with an RTP of 96.58% and a max win of 29,700x. It’s a 6‑reel slot with up to 117,649 ways to win, built around a Hold and Spin feature that turns every symbol into its own reel while Mr. Monopoly strolls across the board collecting Title Deeds, stacking value, and trying to build his empire. It’s classic BTG chaos — big reels, big multipliers, big swings.
The slot mixes Megaways™ momentum with a collector-style bonus that can snowball fast if Mr. Monopoly keeps finding new Cards. Chance Cards can restart the feature or add credit prizes, Community Chest Cards can drop huge bonus payouts, and collecting all Title Deed colours triggers the Monopoly Bonus worth up to 2,500x. Free Spins add even more fuel, with a rising Megaways Win Multiplier and the ability to trigger Hold and Spin inside the bonus.
Our 250‑spin session showed both sides of the slot. The first 150 spins were a complete write‑off — dead patches, no momentum, nothing happening. Then the slot flipped and staged a mini comeback, hitting Hold and Spin twice on spins 154 and 178 for 26x and 71x. A couple of mid‑range base wins (11x and 12x) helped steady the balance. It’s a slot that can be brutal, but when it wakes up, it’s genuinely enjoyable.

Mick’s Take
You need to be able to work your way through some long dead patches with this. First 150 spins were a complete write‑off. Then it just flipped and started a mini comeback. Hit the Hold and Spin Bonus Feature twice — first on spin 154 for a 26x to get things moving, then again on spin 178 for a nice 71x. Also saw base wins of 11x and 12x as well as several just below 10x. Overall, I enjoyed it… eventually!

Gameplay & Features
Hold & Spin
Hold and Spin triggers when 6 or more Cards land anywhere on the reels. Every symbol position becomes its own reel, revealing new Cards while Mr. Monopoly collects Title Deeds. He only collects Title Deeds with a lower or equal value than his current total, so the feature builds progressively.
Mr. Monopoly starts with 3 Money Bags. Each spin without a new Card removes one bag; each collected Card restores one, up to a maximum of 3. The feature ends when all Money Bags are gone, all spaces are filled with Title Deeds, or the Monopoly Bonus is awarded.
Community Chest Cards award a Bonus Prize of up to 2,500x at the end of the feature. Chance Cards are stored until the end and can award a Credit Prize (added to Mr. Monopoly’s value) or a Restart, which clears the screen and resumes Hold and Spin with the current value preserved.
Monopoly Bonus
The Monopoly Bonus triggers when Mr. Monopoly collects Title Deeds of all colours. This awards a prize of up to 2,500x and ends the feature. It’s rare, but it’s one of the biggest payout routes in the game.
Free Spins
Three or more scatters award 12 Free Spins plus 2 extra spins for each additional scatter. Retriggers award 4 extra spins plus 2 per extra scatter.
Mr. Monopoly starts Free Spins with a random value up to 15x. He collects Title Deeds with lower or equal value, just like in Hold and Spin. A Megaways Win Multiplier increases by +1 for each Title Deed collected, boosting regular symbol wins.
If 5 or more Cards land at once during Free Spins, Hold and Spin triggers inside the bonus, allowing Mr. Monopoly to stack even more value before the final payout.
Volatility & Behaviour
Monopoly Money behaves like a typical BTG high‑volatility slot — long dead stretches followed by sudden bursts of action. Our session was a perfect example: 150 spins of nothing, then two Hold and Spin bonuses in quick succession. The slot can feel brutal when it’s cold, but once Mr. Monopoly starts collecting, the gameplay becomes far more engaging.
It’s a slot built for patience. If you can survive the quiet stretches, the features can deliver solid mid‑range wins and occasionally something much bigger.
Graphics & Sound
The theme is classic Monopoly with a modern BTG twist — bright colours, crisp animations, and Mr. Monopoly front and centre. The board visuals look clean, the Hold and Spin reels feel energetic, and the sound design adds tension with each Money Bag drop. It’s polished, lively, and fits the brand perfectly.

SlotTribe Verdict
Monopoly Money can be a slog, and our session proved it — 150 spins of nothing before the slot finally woke up. But once it did, the Hold and Spin bonuses delivered 26x and 71x, plus a few mid‑range base wins to keep things moving. It’s a slot that demands patience, but when Mr. Monopoly starts collecting, the gameplay becomes genuinely fun. Brutal early, enjoyable late.
