Honeylock’s Pots Slot Review
SlotTribe 250 Spin Test – Date: 12 October 2026 – Result: -47.60 – Bonuses: 3 – Biggest Win: 53x
Overview
Honeylock’s Pots is Quickspin’s April 2026 forest‑fairytale slot, built around Honeylocks — Goldilocks’ older sister — who’s apparently stuck cleaning up her sibling’s mess and trying to win back the bears’ trust. It’s a 4‑high, 5‑reel, 30‑line game centred on three Honey Pot features, expanding play areas, collection mechanics, and a bonus that can combine multiple features at once.
The theme is surprisingly charming: honey, pots, forest magic, and a redemption arc that’s more dramatic than it needs to be. But underneath the story, Honeylock’s Pots is a pure feature machine. Every spin feels like it’s building towards something — pots filling, symbols unlocking, meters advancing — and when it hits, it can look capable. Our test session showed both sides of the slot: a solid 53x, a 33x, and a weak 10x bonus, plus a 35x base hit. It’s feast or famine, and today it leaned more towards famine.

Mick’s Take
Triggered the pots three times for wins of a solid 53x, a 33x and a 10x. Highest base win was a 35x. At times it looks capable, but it really is feast or famine. When it’s on, it feels like it could go somewhere — but most of the time it just teases and drains.

Gameplay & Features
Honeylocks & the Three Honey Pots
Three unique honey symbols can trigger the bonus game, each with its own feature:
- Diamonds – Grabber
- Hearts – Expander
- Clubs – Prizepot
Only one of each can land at a time, and any honey symbol may randomly trigger its feature. All three can land together, activating all three features simultaneously.
The Grabber
When the Grabber lands, it collects the values of all visible symbols on the unlocked play area and adds them to its own total. It’s the simplest of the three features — pure collection.
The Prizepot
Each Prizepot symbol advances its meter by one step. If the step contains a prize, that value is added directly to the Prizepot symbol. It’s a slow build feature that can spike if you hit the right steps.
The Expander
Expander symbols unlock 2–5 new positions from the locked area. Across all Expanders, up to 15 additional spots can be unlocked.
Unlocking milestones:
- 8th spot = +1 maximum life
- 15th spot = +1 maximum life
You can reach up to 5 lives total.
Honeylock’s Expand
If a Wild lands, Honeylock’s Expand may trigger — expanding all Wilds to cover the entire reel. With Extra Bet enabled, this expansion is guaranteed whenever a Wild appears.
Honey Boost
If a honey symbol lands but the bonus doesn’t trigger, Honey Boost may activate. Honeylocks appears and force‑triggers the feature linked to that honey symbol. It’s a nice rescue mechanic when the slot is being stingy.
Bonus Game
The bonus can trigger whenever at least one honey symbol lands. You begin with the features linked to the honey symbols that triggered it — Grabber, Expander, Prizepot, or any combination.
During the bonus:
- You start with 3 spins
- Landing any symbol resets spins back to 3
- All symbols stay on the reels for the entire round
- New coins and special symbols can land
- The round ends when no spins remain
- You receive the total value of all collected symbols
It’s a classic hold‑and‑win style bonus but with more layers thanks to the three Honey Pot features.
Honey’s Luck
If your total win reaches 2,500x, Honey’s Luck triggers and instantly awards the max win. The round ends immediately, and you’re paid 2,500x. This cap applies to both base game and bonus combined.
Volatility & Behaviour
Honeylock’s Pots behaves like a medium‑high volatility slot with big swings. The base game can throw out decent hits — we saw a 35x — but it can also go long stretches doing nothing. The bonus is where the slot shines, but even then it’s inconsistent: a strong 53x, a decent 33x, and a weak 10x in our test.
It’s one of those slots that looks like it’s building towards something huge, but often fizzles out. Feast or famine is the perfect description.
Graphics & Sound
The presentation is warm and story‑driven — forest ambience, honey pots, glowing symbols, and Honeylocks herself keeping the bears happy. It’s polished, colourful, and fits the fairytale theme perfectly. The audio is gentle and pleasant, matching the forest vibe.

SlotTribe Verdict
Honeylock’s Pots is a sweet, feature‑rich slot with a charming theme and three Honey Pot mechanics that can combine for big potential. Our 250-spin test showed both sides of it — a strong 53x, a decent 33x, and a weak 10x, plus a 35x base hit. It’s capable, but wildly inconsistent. If you like hold‑and‑win slots with layered features, you’ll enjoy it. Just be ready for feast or famine.
