Starlight Princess Super Scatter can be extremely brutal or extremely generous — there’s never any middle ground with this one. Most sessions leave me feeling absolutely brutalised, like a crime has been committed against me. That’s why I only play it now and again, usually after I’ve already rinsed Starlight Princess, Starlight Princess 1000, and the Gates lot.
That said, I’ve had some very, very good sessions on it too. Today was one of the middling ones — the bonus finally dropped on spin 142 for a solid 136x, which stopped the session from becoming a complete disaster. Without that hit, it would’ve been a proper mugging.
