Rise of Olympus 1000 Slot Review

Rise of Olympus 1000: SlotTribe 250 Spin Test – Date: 5 October 2026 – Result: –3.40 – Bonuses: 7 – Biggest Win: 81x

Overview

Rise of Olympus 1000 is Play’n GO’s 2026 super‑charged scatter‑pays sequel, taking the original Rise of Olympus formula and cranking the multipliers into absolute madness. This time the gods aren’t messing about — Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus appear as multiplier symbols that can climb through 15 stages all the way up to a ridiculous x1000. Combine that with scatter‑pays, cascades, guaranteed upgrades on wins, and a free spins mode where multipliers carry forward, and you’ve got a slot that can explode out of nowhere.

The gameplay is built around landing eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. Wins cascade, new symbols drop in, and multipliers sitting on the grid apply to the total round win. If multiple multipliers are present, their values add together — which is where the slot’s insane potential comes from. Hades is the base form, Poseidon is the mid‑tier, and Zeus is the top god who can jump multiple stages at once.

Free Spins are where Rise of Olympus 1000 really tries to shine. You get 12 spins, retriggers add three more, and any multiplier used in a win is carried forward into a container that grows throughout the bonus. If you keep hitting wins with multipliers, the container climbs and climbs, giving you a chance at those top‑end stages.

Our test session was chaotic — seven bonuses in 250 spins — but most of them paid sod all. Rise of Olympus 1000 is fun, but it absolutely takes the piss when it wants to.

Mick’s Take

Enjoyed this slot but believe me, it really can take the piss. It went nuts and threw the Scatters in seven times, but hardly any of the free spins bonus rounds were any good. Bonus 1 paid 1x, Bonus 2 paid 36x, Bonus 3 paid 1x, Bonus 4 paid 23x, Bonus 5 paid 2x, Bonus 6 paid 24x, and finally the last and best on spin 243 paid 81x. Plenty of bonuses, barely any payout.

Gameplay & Features

Scatter Pays & Cascades

Rise of Olympus 1000 uses a scatter‑pays system:

  • Symbols pay anywhere
  • Land 8+ matching symbols for a win
  • Winning symbols disappear
  • New symbols cascade in
  • Multipliers apply to the total round win

This creates chain reactions where multipliers can stack into big payouts if the grid behaves.

Divine Multipliers (x2 to x1000)

There are 15 multiplier stages, starting at x2 and climbing all the way to x1000. Multipliers appear as:

  • Hades → base multiplier
  • Poseidon → upgraded multiplier
  • Zeus → top-tier multiplier

Multiple multipliers add together, which is where the slot’s insane potential comes from. Only one multiplier type can exist per round, but it can upgrade multiple times.

Hades → Poseidon → Zeus Upgrades

Multipliers upgrade in order:

  • Hades upgrades to Poseidon
  • Poseidon upgrades to Zeus
  • Zeus can jump multiple stages

Each upgrade increases the multiplier by at least one stage.

Guaranteed Upgrades on Wins

If a round has:

  • A multiplier
  • AND a win

The multiplier guarantees an upgrade. This applies in both base game and free spins.

Super Upgrade

A Super Upgrade can randomly trigger, boosting the multiplier again — sometimes leaping straight to the final stage. This is the slot’s “holy shit” moment.

Free Spins

Land three or more Scatters to trigger 12 Free Spins.

Inside Free Spins:

  • Retriggers add +3 spins
  • Multipliers used in wins are carried forward
  • The multiplier container grows throughout the bonus
  • Multipliers not used in wins do not carry forward

This creates a bonus that can snowball if you keep hitting wins with multipliers.

Volatility & Behaviour

Rise of Olympus 1000 behaves like a high-volatility slot that loves throwing bonuses but hates paying for them. Seven bonuses in 250 spins is ridiculous, but most of them were tiny. The slot can absolutely explode — the multiplier system is insane — but you need cascades, upgrades, and multiplier wins all lining up at once. When it’s cold, it’s painful. When it’s warm, it’s fun. When it’s hot, it’s terrifying.

Graphics & Sound

Classic Rise of Olympus style — dramatic gods, glowing multipliers, booming sound effects, and a polished mythological theme. Zeus upgrades look great, cascades feel punchy, and the multiplier container adds tension during free spins. It’s visually strong and fits the series perfectly.

What It Does Well

Scatter-pays with strong cascades
Huge multiplier potential
Guaranteed upgrades keep momentum
Super Upgrades can spike wins
Free Spins with cumulative multipliers
Fast, energetic gameplay

What It Does Badly

Bonuses often pay nothing
High volatility with extreme swings
Multipliers can appear but never connect
Too many dead cascades
Lots of teasing, little payout

Who It’s For

Players who enjoy:

Scatter-pays slots
Multiplier stacking
High volatility
Fast-paced cascades
Mythology themes
Slots that can explode out of nowhere

SlotTribe Verdict

Rise of Olympus 1000 is chaotic, loud, and capable of monstrous wins — but it’s also capable of throwing seven bonuses at you and paying sod all. Our session was fun but frustrating, with only one bonus delivering anything meaningful. If you enjoy scatter-pays carnage and multiplier madness, this slot is worth a spin. Just be ready for the gods to take the piss before they pay.
