Starlight Princess Slot Review

SlotTribe 250 Spin Test – Date: 12 October 2026 – Result: -138.72 – Bonuses: 0 – Biggest Win: 28x

Overview

Starlight Princess is Pragmatic Play’s September 2021 celestial tumble slot — bright, loud, sugary anime chaos with multipliers that can turn a dead screen into a full-blown explosion. It’s built on the same engine as Gates of Olympus, but with a princess who looks innocent until she decides to drop a 100x bomb out of nowhere. When she’s in the mood, she’s unreal. When she’s not, she’s colder than deep space.

The gameplay revolves around landing 8–30 matching symbols anywhere on the grid, chaining tumbles, and praying the Princess throws a multiplier at the right moment. She can drop multipliers from 2x all the way up to 500x, and when multiple land in the same tumble sequence, they stack into something filthy. But our test session showed the other side of her personality — endless teases, multipliers landing with no wins, and not a single bonus in 250 spins. Classic Princess behaviour.

Mick’s Take

Another one of my every-session favourites, but she was horrible today and can go stick her magic wand where the sun don’t shine. No bonuses, umpteen teases, and the highest win was a 28x. That’s the Princess for you — either a goddess or a gremlin.

Gameplay & Features

Tumbles & Scatter Pays

Starlight Princess uses scatter pays — land 8–30 matching symbols anywhere on the grid to score a win. Every win triggers a tumble, clearing symbols and dropping new ones in. This keeps the screen moving and sets up multiplier potential.

Multipliers (2x–500x)

Multiplier symbols can land on any spin, win or lose. They take a random value between 2x and 500x. At the end of each tumble sequence, all multipliers on screen add together and apply to the total win.

This is where the slot can go insane — one good tumble plus a fat multiplier can turn a nothing spin into a monster.

Bonus Game – 15 Free Spins

Land 4+ scatters to trigger the bonus:

4 scatters = 15 free spins
More scatters = higher starting multiplier potential

Inside the bonus, multipliers behave differently:

Any multiplier that lands on a winning tumble gets added to a running total multiplier
That total multiplier applies to all wins for the rest of the bonus

This is why the bonus can explode — one good chain early can set up a ridiculous multiplier for the entire feature.

Volatility & Behaviour

Starlight Princess is one of the streakiest slots ever made. She’s either:

chaining tumbles
dropping multipliers
building momentum
and looking ready to explode

or she’s:

dead spinning
teasing bonuses
dropping multipliers with no wins
and pretending she doesn’t see your screen

Our session was the cold version — Arctic, stubborn, and stingy. No bonus in 250 spins tells you everything.

Graphics & Sound

Bright anime visuals, magical girl energy, sparkles everywhere, and a soundtrack that feels like a sugar rush. It’s loud, colourful, and instantly recognisable. Pragmatic nailed the presentation — even when she’s mugging you off, the slot looks great.

SlotTribe Verdict

Starlight Princess is one of the most entertaining, infuriating, and addictive slots Pragmatic has ever made. She’s capable of outrageous wins, heartbreaking losses, and everything in between. Our 250-spin test was brutal — no bonus, highest win 28x, and a balance that slid straight downhill. When she’s hot, she’s unbelievable. Today, she wasn’t. Approach with caution… and maybe a stiff drink.rlight Princess 1000 and Starlight Princess Super Scatter
